[ Song of Mochaccino ] -- by Peter Huang

As the sun is setting, the day’s hustle nears its end. I want to enjoy a cup of Mochaccino, in stead of the old favorite latte, Which is fragrantly strong yet tastes bitter in the end. Who says well and true: Love is sweetly bitterness. Then why not boldly replace Latte with Mochaccino?! Which is sweet and more colorful. A small change and indulgences in life can make big difference, It can lights up your heart, wipe off your melancholy. Life can be brighter, sweeter, and more enjoyable by a small change. Let’s try this cup of Mochaccino, instead of my old favorite Just follow me my dear, if you want to be happier. P.S. Latte: Espresso and steamed milk served in a tall glass, if taken without suger, often tastes a little bitter. Mochaccino, on the other hand, is Espresso added with chocolate powder or sauce, therefore, tastes sweet and with more flavor of chocolate than that of coffee.

Listening To A Cicada 聽蟬,聽禪 -- by Peter Huang

To those who appreciate the beauty of English language, here is a dish I produced from my garden…. - Peter Huang   Listening To A Cicada Guess how many men would envy you: "Lucky cicada, you have a mute wife." Oh dear, dear. The summer is exacerbated by your tedious voice. As I enjoy being alone in my garden, my castle as well. Till come your long and boring shrieks… Yet nowhere can I see you. The key of the note hard to tell, the tone by no means appeals to ears. Strangely, in the end I reconcile with your monologue or complaint, whichever could be, whatever, and whenever from daybreak, through the afternoon with a high key, noisy and tedious. All that split the air, and disturb shadows of trees, turn soft only after dark; leave me to sweet dreams at night. Then stop, and sing no more, as though waiting to steal the secrecy from my soul. Oh, dear dear, cicada. Wha...

Denise -- By Peter Huang

Denise, your eyes, azure blue Crystal clear, yet profound, A happy valley I haply find, No one but me wondering lonely inside. This is my wonderland, Over thousand times I must have proclaimed. . Whenever the lips are lifted, With fragrance the air is filled, I hold breath and hearken, A skylark has melodies to release, The voice, so harmonious, so sweet, Like a little creek passing through the spring field, Too often have I tried to respond, In vain only to find, Hollow echoes, sigh for sighs.

Two poems translated by Peter Huang

1.   To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time " 致處女們 : 善用時光 " By: Robert Herrick (24-8-1591--15 -10-1674) Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, 勸卿花開及時採 Old Time is still a-flying; And this same flower that smiles today, 眼前含笑的花朵 Tomorrow will be dying. Cherish your youth instead. Bloom needs plucking pluck in time. Don't wait till only twigs left.

Prince --- By Peter Huang
